This is all the stuff posted…

youtubeYesterday I was doing something as oldschool as watching a TV drama! I was well caught up in the action and then: “To be continued…” ARGHHH. What’s going on? Where’s the next episode? Gotta go on youtube and try to find the next episode… Yeah, I know that if it was there, it’s probably not legal and I knew that it wasn’t because I was for the sameĀ  broadcasting-network that produced the drama series.

But then I started thinking. Have YouTube changed the way we look at television? Have we become too impatient to follow a TV drama in the traditional way? “To be continued…” usually means that you have to spend 10-30 seconds looking for the next episode. YouTube have changed things around in many ways, but I think this is one of the biggest changes (and maybe an understated change) that they have played part in. And of course made us all addicted to videos with kittens and puppies.

Happy B’day YouTube! Can’t wait to see how the media-picture looks like in another five years.

The tipping point

This can't be said too often. Malcolm Gladwell is just an amazing writer.
It is a pleasure to be guided through numerous research findings and stories from around the world while he is getting closer to the essence of the tipping point.

Reboot11 Book

I know it’s been a long time since reboot11, especially now when Copenhagen is covered in brown/yellowish/not white snow. But you still have the opportunity to re-live or re-discover some of the great stuff that happened those beautiful sunny days in June last year.
The book/editorial team did a great job in documenting the whole thing; all cranked down in one pdf. Get it here: Action is at eleven
